Bit sweepy, bit synthy, bit mournful in the old vocals there – this is The Zephyrs with a track from their upcoming fifth album Fool of Regrets. Yes, fifth, would you believe it! They’re from Edinburgh as well but I don’t think that’s why I haven’t heard of them.
Sort of shoegaze, but a bit brighter and with some quite psychy guitars, it’s quite a nice summer-becomes-autumn type of song if that makes any sense. The hook will infect your brain also, so get used to it. Lovely stuff.
