Wor then. Bright Light Bright Light is the pseudoynym of multi intrumentalist type gentleman Rod Thomas (fortunately not Rob Thomas), who has put together a track that is very poppy and very good. There’s a quite understated approach to the synths and the general eighties feel of it, which is very restrained considering how brash this could have been. WELL DONE ALL INVOLVED.

There are also a number of pleasing “whoosh” intros and outros for those of you that like that sort of thing, so don’t go thinking this is an entirely austere affair. In the video they’ve also invested in wind machines, triangle heads and big spotlights, widely recognised the ultimate triumverate of pop video greatness.

In conclusion, thoroughly listenable stuff.
