Yeah, I decided to get back on that whole 30 Days of Music thing. Seeing as how I got all the way up to day 25 I figured I’d best polish the shebang off. It’s rude to leave a shebang unfinished, after all.

As it happens, I’ve got a fair few choices for this one. I was trained on brass instruments – specifically the Etenor horn. Oh man, did I ever rock that horn. I couldn’t tell you one of the songs I used to play on it though, it was all band music. But I rocked it.

After that I moved onto more traditional rock instruments – guitar and bass. Mainly bass. That’s my main instrument if anyone asks, and I do enjoy playing it.

I’ve therefore picked the song I spent probably the most time learning to play – at the time it was the peak of my musical abilities, and that I can still play it does make me smile a bit.

Plus it’s a great song, no messing. The whole MTV Unplugged in New York album really shows the power and beauty of Nirvana in Cobain’s latter days. I’ll fish it out tonight and I suggest you do as well.
