Here is the video for LCD Soundsystem’s new track Drunk Girls. It involves pandas and violence.
It’s quite similar to tracks from the last album, and so far This Is Happening is good but not great for me, but I never turn down any hot LCD action and this is no exception.
In conclusion, quite good.

I’ve listened to This Is Happening about 15 times (Srsly) in the last 4-5 days, but something is just not clicking.
Definitely a solid album, but does it live up to all the hype over on the last.fm page? I’m not sure.
Dance Yrself Clean and Pow Pow clear standouts for me.

I don’t think it could ever live up to the hype – anything LCD is inevitably going to cause a major tizz in online music circles. It’s good but not great, and not the step up I think everyone was hoping for.
I’m a big fan of One Touch because I love any track that involves Nancy Whang shouting.
Not seeing them, are you? Saw them at Wireless in 2007 and it was a fun set, though you could tell Murphy was frustrated by something not working.
