30 Days of Music: 15 A Song That Describes You
Daft Punk – Human After All (Youtube, audio only)
There’s plenty of avenues I could have gone down for this particular choice. Sober by Muse, because I am. White Man In Hammersmith Palais by The Clash, if I was in Hammersmith Palais (which I am not though I am very white). I might even have gone for Dumb by Nirvana if I was fifteen, this was Livejournal and I felt like being self-deprecating to get some attention before crying myself to sleep.
Fortunately for you, I’m none of these things. Also fortunately for you, I’m not taking this too seriously. Also I somehow I managed to get half way through this thing without posting any Daft Punk and that dog won’t hunt, monsignor.
Last time I checked, I was a human (after all) so here’s Human After All by Daft Punk. After all (get it), I can’t think of a track that better describes me and all of you lovely people. Except the ones reading this that are robots, and I daresay that’s a good number of you.
So, let’s raise a collective glass. To the human race! And also robots!
