Alex Metric – It Starts (Youtube)

Bit of radio friendly electro for you guys now. I’ve heard some of Alex Metric’s remixes, but this is the first track I’ve heard under his name.

It’s a catchy one, no doubt. Infectious! There’s a lot of Les Rhythmes Digitales going on in here, most notably in the vocals, and a bit of the Kitsune sound that Two Door Cinema Club has been using to great effect recently.

The video’s well put together as well. Looking forward to his debut album, which will be out… well. “My album is coming. I promise” he states on his Myspace, so let’s just hope it’s sooner rather than later as this track has got 2010 off to a flying start.
