The Horrors  – Whole New Way (Youtube)

I’m really enjoying the new Horrors album, along with most of the music critics in the UK.  It was even nominated for the Mercury prize, and to be quite honest they were unlucky to lose.

The change in style and sound is remarkable, given that their first album was bordering on mediocre and came across as more obnoxious than anything else. Whole New Way is one of the standouts of the album, taking influences from classic rock but with psychadelic synths thrown in as well.

I implore you to get involved with Primary Colours, as it’s a fantastic album and one of the few LPs that work form end to finish these days. Top stuff.
