Wow, so how excited am I by this new Marina record? Like, a lot. I mean, really.

I’ve heard the name bandied around a bit of late, and there’s some particularly interesting remixes, but this is the first time I’ve heard their actual stuff. And wow. Just wow.

There’s a lot of Kate Bush-esque vocals going on here, but on top of that, the pounding piano and lucid lyrics about being chased by spoons, there’s a fantastic song at the heart of it. I’m really excited by Marina and her bejewelled ilk, and this song is going to be on repeat for some time in my place.
