Coming on like an eight piece New Young Pony Club are The Phenomenal Handclap Band, who despite not only clapping their hands are one fun new band.

Appearing slightly too late to be the summer anthem it could so easily be, it’s nevertheless a funky track that evokes the New York osund of Blondie as well as other indie contemporaries, with  laissez faire vocals giving it a very cool feel.

The video’s fun as well – the split screen idea’s been done before but it’s been executed pretty well in this instance.
