Filthy Dukes immediately win the Bitter Fingers award for best band name of 2009, without even hearing any of their tracks. Seriously I can’t think of a better band name than that. It just about eclipses Dananananaykroyd given that you can actually spell it.

Name aside, this is a new electro track from The Filth (I’m trying that out as well) that has a lot of atmosphere as well as bleeps and bloops going for it. At first hearing I thought of Night on Disco Mountain from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, and it’s the closest comparison I can think of. Don’t you go judging me, that’s an awesome soundtrack.

There’s a radio edit with Wiley lurking about as well which is getting a fair bit of play, but I prefer the original. Top stuff all round, though.

Wow, I’m digging this song. I’m also not sure which is more awesome: this band’s name, or your writeup about their name. :D
