Little Boots – New In Town (Youtube)

The first track I heard by Little Boots was Stuck on Repeat, a fantastic track that I described as I Feel Love being rear-gunned by Popcorn. New material has slowly been trickling out, and after the stomp of Meddle it’s hard to think of a better song to follow it up than this one.

Big fat synths start the proceedings off nicely, and while Boots’ vocals aren’t the cornerstone of the track they flow nicely. She’s got the perfect voice for an electro-pop track like this. It’s similar to the work of both Annie and Robyn, as any female singing to electro-pop is going to be, but that’s no reason to enjoy it any less.
